Exhaust Tips

For anyone that has ever had an aftermarket exhaust. Do tips make a difference? If I put resonated tips on will it signicantly reduce noise? What resonated tips look good on a cl/tl?

Never saw any that were worth much, mostly they are chrome plated doodads that cost money and do nothing.Jens
