Anyone here ever get the replacement exhaust tips and have pics? What are your opinions, worth the money? or just save up and get comptech exhausts?

I actually like the stock chrome oval tips and have delayed getting the Comtech exhaust because I didn't want to lose them. I suppose I could save them and put them on the Comtechs, but don't know for sure. Might look like crap.....

Any thoughts?

 

The stocks look good but the c-techs look way better. I don't think it would be smart to start cutting on your 700 dollar mirror finish mufflers. Besides, what would be the point, there isn't much hp gain from the exhaust anyway. Only gain would be the sound. If your happy w/ the stock look leave it. But the c-techs are badass.

 

go to midas with some tips from any auto store, they'll know hoew to do it. thats what I've been told, But i decided to go with HKS, for sound and looks

 

be careful when adding tips to a muffler, my dad used to own a muffler shop and do those kind of modifications all the time...I never thought it looked as smooth as a muffler with original tips imo.
