This is from the Acura site, does anyone know what kind of coating is on the mufflers? Stainless shouldn't need anything.

haha-i got a can of black 'muffler' spray paint in my closet for future touchups...get it a pep boys or auto zone

 

i've heard stainless steel can rust. dunno if our mufflers will rust since it has the black coating, but i was luking over at the is300 site and some over there have complained that their stock stainless mufflers are rusting...

 

Don't know what it's made of really but I clean it w/ turtle wax chrome polisher and it looks sweet all the time. Last time at the tysons meet every one was like DAYYUM you exhaust looks clean. And it only took 30 seconds to do. I all my cleaning supplies in my car so when I get bored or while I'm waiting for my stupid frineds to show up I detail/clean my car.
