if you think that's bad...

I was once behind a CL without mudflaps...cruising at around 70...when I got beside him I noticed that air was getting caught by the lip of the rear bumper, which caused it to shudder severly...the whole corner of the bumper was flapping in the wind!!! that shiz looked bunk! I'm sure the guy didn't even notice it.

Well, exhaust piping has to move at leats a little due to the movement of the engine. I usually notice most cars do it especially when driving over ruts in the road that cause the body to flex back and forth. I wouldn't care about it until it falls off. Or, just run dumps and noone will see it.

i used these metal clamps that not only stopped the sway of the exhaust but also pick it up and put them into the exhaust holes. I think they have brackets so i was also able to move the mufflers side to side.

Had a friend mentiuon to me tonight how mine (Thermal R&D) shake when I go over bumpy areas. I have wiggled them myself and it was not that much play. It's not like some cars where they move all over the place. Pretty much every car I have seen with Dual exhaust outlets have this problem even my ex g/f's moms 2k Lex GS3.

my buddy also commented (when driving behind me one day) that my TL-S exhaust system shakes all over the place... I've driven behind other TL owners and have noticed similar things. I had him drive my car one day, I drove his.. and I saw my exhaust swingin' all over the place... ugh .. i NEVER notice this on any other cars on the road!!! what the hell is up w/ this? Caddy's, Nissan Alty's... you name it.. none of their exhausts shake this bad
