looks like all the direct fit ones are 15" long. The magnaflows are 250-300 as well for a 2.5" cat, so ill pass on those. If i have too, ill end up with the xlr8 one for 300, but i think im gonna try the cheapie one for $40 and see how that works out first....plus it will be a good test to see if it even helps out for cheap

Vibrant 7013 2.5" in/out hi flow ceramic cat is $86.95 FROM VIBRANT DIRECT!

I'm sure you probably can find it a LITTLE cheaper, but those $40 jobs on eBay have a huge flaw; the honeycomb pipe down the center is usually poorly welding and comes loose causing a HORRIBLE rattle and smelly exhaust. I speak from experience as my last car threw the CEL for downstream O2, ended up being the cat and I wanted a fast/cheap replacement. I will not due that again.

i would just want to make sure it's quality. I had a universal magnaflow put on once and it nearly failed emissions the same year (threw a CEL within a few months).

for the price, there's not much out there that can beat it. I don't think that comes with an O2 bung though, but getting the bung & the flanges welded on would not be very expensive. Just making sure everything is mounted correctly is going to be #1 priority to allow easy removal when it goes up for sale and back to stock.
