Exhaust mid pipe replacement

To make a long story short I want to know if you all think the following link/part will fix my problem. Here's my current exhaust setup.
01 CL-P-XS headers with wrapped flex pipe, hollowed out Cat(mine was clogged recently and I figured try to run it hollowed out before I buy a new one) which made a huge difference in the way the car ran(better). After all of that is the stock piping minus the resonator into stock mufflers.
Now I'm getting a bad rattle/buzz from the stock mufflers which I can only assume is from the exhaust being so free flowing with the headers and hollow cat. This is only if I get on it but besides that I love the way the exhaust sounds and feels when it is not buzzing. My question is do you think the following replacement mid section and new resonator will solve my buzz problem?

Please keep in mind I would like to do this the cheapest way possible. I can't find a local shop that would weld in a after market resonator for any less than $120.00.

make sure the rattle isn't coming from a heat shield or anything.??

i'd personally just get a type s midpipe going to the mufflers which give u more power too.. and if they still rattle then it's time for some nice new mufflers. dunno if the cl-p cat fits to the type s midpipe?? but if it doesn't.. you still need a new cat and that would be the optimum time to get the xlr8 high flow cat.

i dunno a lot about the cl-p with respect to how much back pressure it needs, so maybe the xlr8 cat and type s mid pipe is too much. but i'm sure someone will chime in and straighten that out..

the cat may be causeing the rattle tho, since it's hollwed out the air going through it is probably whirling around in there instead of flowing out and this may be the cause of the rattle in the mufflers... but then again, u may have just toasted the mufflers... i've heard of it happening to lots of other cars..i'd definitely try getting the type 2 pipe on there tho.. defs

Are you sure part of the cat didnt break off and is now floating around in the exhaust system?
