Guys.

Does anybody have the 3-hole cover to block the exhaust cutout that I can borrow for 1-2 weeks? My damn cutout stopped working and I have to send the stupid thing back for repair... and obviously I can't drive the car around. I am too lazy to make one... so if you have one let me know.

Just the flange cover? can't you get any muffler shop to make you one?

 

The ones close to me suck and I am busy the next two weekends to go to the guy I normally deal with. Plus in CA nobody wants to work with exhaust bypass and anything emissions-related.

 

Ouch, if you were closer I know a guy in Santa Margarita that would do it easily. Good luck though.

 

I hope this doesn't happen with Smitty's Kit.

If that doesnt work I dont have anything but I have lots of welding shops around me. I can get something made for you if you tell me what you need.

 

Hey Steve.

I called them and they are shipping me the motor and I'll swap it out. If that's a failure, then I might ask for your cover - I'll pay for shipping etc. of course. Hopefully its just the
motor. All electrical connections are alive so I just hope that's it.
