Most of the other ones will be louder. Search CleanCL. I like his system as an alternative. But it's still louder than the CT's.

i had apex'i catback, and it didn't drone as much as the CT's (axleback) do.

If your wanting the CT sound you will have to get CT and pay for it..

But as an alternative, i would say Greddy Evo II. Its around $800 for the catback, and is the best sounding IMO. If your on a budget, go with magnaflow 14832 with the exhaust resonator removed, should be about $300 parts/labor.

I've heard great things about the Greddy Evo II exhaust, but will need to save up for it...

By the way is you get a used set of CT's it won't be as expensive. Save the cash and then buy what you really like.

Go on youtube, there are a few people there who posted sound clips of their exhausts (unless you did that already).

I think most owners of the EVO II can agree with me when I say that it sounds like a "Beefier" G35. In other words, its AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Magnaflows sound pretty good also and look more aggressive than comptech.

Here is a vid of my TL with a magnaflow catback

Thing is, everyone is going to have their own opinion with different exhausts. There is not one tone where all 50k members are going to say they like, so search around for sound clips, meet up with people around you, and see what you like and go from there.
