exhaust

did you cl drivers who have the hks or comptech exhausts install the exhaust yourself? if not where do you suggest getting the exhaust installed and how much do you think it will cost? also how much does it cost to get the comptech headers installed?

Can't speak for any others, but the Comptech exhaust is really simple to install. Took me all of 30 minutes and I am slow. Two bolts and two rubber hangers for each half of the exhaust...that's all that's involved.

Ditto on the Comptech goods. Bout 20min. Didn't even need to jack the rear end up to do the job. Don't pay someone to do this... you'll regret it.

for about $300 more you can get the greedy exhaust its alot better--the Y bend and manderal pipes plus the better looking mufflers are more than worth it

The HKS install is easy as hell to do. It's a simple bolt on, and a perfect fit. No need for welding/bending/etc... I didnt have a jack so I didnt do it myself. But you could probably get under there without a stand, but you're cutting it close if your car is dropped. Go to a muffler shop, and they'll install it (under 10 minutes). They shouldnt charge you more then $10-25 to do the job.

Put them on yourself. It's so easy there is no need to pay anyone to do it.

Now the headers on the other hand, pay someone. They are not so easy.(I paid about $250).
