excise tax - how must this year for you CL?

Hey guys,

Just got my excise tax for 2004. My 2001 CL was $190.

For my 2001 Acura 3.2CL Type-S
In 2001 it was $568.75
In 2002 it was $455.00
In 2003 it was $303.75
This year it's $190.00

For my 1971 Datsun 240z
In 2003 it was $8.75
This year it's $8.75

For my 2002 R1 (bought it late 2002)
In 2003 it was $155.00
This year it's $102.50

WTF? Initially mine was almost a thousand. I'd have to go looking to see what last year was but I think that it was around $300.

JONESumd I' check but my girl doesn't have tomorrow off so I don't want to go rifling the records. Now that I think about it it was around the same as you $500.

Are you game to meet up for a beer since you are a MA boy? If you don't drink then I'd still like to have another CL guy stepping up. I meet Bulldog01 pretty often...come hang out! Trust me....we aren't a loud crowd..

pm me.

2002: $95 (took delivery in Oct of 2002)
2003: $687

MA is $25 for every $1000 of valuation. The musta figured my CLS was worth $27.5K or so.

I think mine was only $350 new, now $63 for my 2000 A4, valued at $2500 according to the state. My bike is penuts now. I didn't get that bill yet, but last year my 99 CBR600 was valued at under $1000. I wish insurance in this state was as good a deal as excise tax.

Ray, although MA is $25 of 1000 accross the board, it's weird how they calculate the valuation amount. I payed more on my 79 VW bus then I did on my 94 Ford Tbird
