excessive paint chips from stereo shop!

So i got my car back from a stereo install yesterday, pretty reputable shop (dedona tint and sound, in greensboro nc) and not only does it look like they hit my car, but there are tons of little paint cracks all over the front hood and front bumper, a few on the roof and front fenders too. the owner is saying it was all caused by road debris, but i dont buy that because in the 3 weeks ive owned the car, ive never noticed it before. so my question is, does anyone else have this kind of damage to the paint of there car from road debris or anything else? i know that our paint is kind of crappy, but the damage here is pretty excessive, as in, more than a few chips on it, theres problably around 200 plus chips. i'll try to post some pictures here later today, but anyone else have similar damage as described. And yes, when i picked up the car, there wasnt a damn thing wrong with the hood or the front. it was damn near immaculate.

I think my car has 2,000 stone chips.

I bet yours were probably there BEFORE the shop had it.

You might miss out on things like that when you first see a car you really like. Thats what happend to me. When i got my cl-s i never realized my bumpers were a shade darker paint then my car. Now i have to get my bumpers repainted eventually. Wonder what thats gonna cost me...

It happens. I got my car repainted last summer and there are a ton of chips on the hood already.

I'll buy that the shop put a dent in, or some scratches, but I'm sure the chips were there. Post pics, lets see how bad it it.

When was the last time you washed it? Could it be the dealer touched them up & the stereo shop or you washed it & the touch up paint(which is crap anyway) washed off?

I had an alarm shop dent my truck fender from the guy leaning into the engine bay. They denied it & told me they weren't responsable. Couldn't prove it cause I drove off before I noticed it.
