Supercharged CL-S 6MT vs. EVO

I'm not sure of the EVO's mods...it looked like stock exhuast but it definitely had an aftermarket blow-off valve (soooooo loud).

Anyways, we are sitting at a light and my windows are down and I look over and this nice EVO is sitting next to me. I wasn't looking to race but if he punched it I was going to show what the CL-S could do.

The light turns green and he rolls out slowly and then I hear him nail it. So I do the same. I start spinning but I'm still pulling he nails second and gains a car on me. Once I get into second gear he still has a car length but not for long. As soon as I shift into 3rd I'm at his door. After that I destroyed him. 4-5 car lengths by the time I was half way through 4th. Third gear pulls like a mother f'er in this car. We got to the next light (about a mile down the road) and I asked him if he stayed on it the entire time and he said he did. I asked if he wanted to run again but he said he was low on gas

doubtful. Steve is also s/c'ed. 4 car lengths or not, that evo is awd and from a dig, we would get spanked. IMO

He'd get spanked from stop light to stop light if the Evo driver keeps dumping the clutch. But anything longer and a blown CLS will catch up and pass the Evo.
