That sucks ... But not everyone is shady. There are many people who have bought things online and its turned out just fine. Personally, I bought my S2000 off of eBay with 1500 miles and about $2500 worth of mods on it ... and I asked for all the OEM parts and got everything as promised. The car was loaded with boxes when it was delivered.

So the answer is just to be cautious. It sounds like this guy took most of the pre-cautions with checking out the car first and everything ... He just got majorly screwed! Hopefully he'll be able to get some sortof resolution out of this.

just bad luck. I too bought my CLS off Ebay and not one problem with it. It even came with door sills already.

i almost had an incident like this when buying my trans am from a used car dealership. But a quick call rom my lawyer and my father(works for the govt) had the guy telling me that he would have someone hand deliver the title to me by the next day. He said he didnt mean to be an asshole and he hopes we can do business again in the future. I said go fuck yourself. He was a scumbag, than acts nice after a nice scare.

This is exactly why when I bought my S2000 from a different state I brought a cashiers check made out to both mine and the sellers name. Then after I fully inspected the car, as well as taking it to the dealership for them to examine.

When I decided to buy it, I arragned the truck to pick up the car, and watched it load up and left for my home before I got on the plane. That is the only safe way to do this kind of stuff. I feel bad for that guy.

well DAYAMN! Have you read the whole post guys? the guy who sold the car is on there saying HE is the one that is getting scammed.
This the biggest BS I've ever heard of. My name is in the open Ahmet Uyar and I am not hiding from a low life like you or anyone else. You crooked basterd. The deal was $38000 for the car. I saked an extra $2000 for the extras which was worth much more then that you said no. I have four witneses that can verify that. You bought a perfectly nice car for 38K and none of the extras were included. You are the fraud and you are the crook. I now live in Orlando and come and sue me I would be more then happy to counter sue your azz. I'll see you in court you crook. And no you are getting NOTHING for free you piece off shit.
It's pretty damn confusing- bottom line- don't give ANY money until you get the vehicle along with the bill of sale, and the title.
