The estimate is in!

About a week ago some idiot drug the ass end of his car across the front of my CLS. My CLS was parked at the time and I saw the whole thing happen. He knocked the air out of his right rear tire, otherwise he would have tried to get away. Everything on my car stayed square, but the front bumper cover was torn and badly scratched. The body shop quotes $697 to fix the damage. The $697 gets me a new bumper cover with supporting Styrofoam, and paint. Of course that also covers the labor to remove the old cover and mount the new one. As long as the body shop does a decent job all things considered that’s not to bad. Just looking at it I was expecting a lot worse price wise.

Yeah...that plastic shit is much cheaper than metal body panels. You'll have to change your name from bone_stock to new_bumper!!!
