I have only (1) CD in the changer and it is showing that all 6 slots are "full"..The flap doesn't open and when I look inside, I can't see the cd....Error says Err 1 and then says "chec" and then goes right to raido...what to do?????

 

Did you try holding down the "load" button and then the "eject" button? I've had a CD get stuck in the changer once or twice before, and that's done the trick.

Tried it but no..amd yesterday I could see the cd when I held the door open with my license.( I had no way of grabbing it though....but today when I got a pair of tweezers ready...it is not right in front..it is visible but it is one step below..I am going crazy!!!! and cannot afford a new one1

 

I just use another CD to either move it down or up, depends on how its stuck.

 

Same thing was wrong with my car when I bought it. The bose wouldn't play and it kept saying ERR1. I ended up getting a long, flat tweezer and pulled out each of the CDs by tilting them down, but that still didn't fix the CD ERR. Ended up buying a used headunit off ebay for $100 and now I have a spare piece of junk sitting in the closet...
