Engine misfireing between 50-60 MPH changed everything..

In my old CL type-s is having problems and I or the guy that bought it can't figure it out. The car misfires in all cylinders when it goes from 50-60MPH and you also feel the car shaking a at that speed but when u get over 65MPH the car feels fine. It does feel hesitant at 50-60MPH and the Check engine and VSA light come on for the misfire codes and if he resets them it comes on again at that speed. He replaced all the spark plugs and coil packs cuz when I had this problem before it was a coil pack but they are all new coils and plugs. He also changed the catilic converter..
Can anyone give any more Ideas on what it can be causing the car to missfire at 50-60 MPH and be hesitant and shake?
The car has prob 180K miles now.. What do u guys think?

what kind of work was done to it recentely? there must be a loose connection somewhere which probably shakes because of the tires being out of balance.

as dumb as this will sound, he'll probably save MORE money by just having the dealer fix it because he is wasting money buying the wrong parts trying to fix the problem. In this situation if you take the car in, the dealer won't charge you if they put in the wrong parts and the diagnostic fee is free if they find the problem and fix it.

A guy i knew had a saab 9000 that kept shutting off and he ended up spending $400 on the wrong parts trying to fix it, he gave up and took it into the dealer and it ended up being a faulty $70 ignition.....

i've never heard of that but our clutches are easy to engage because there hydrolic. So it probably has to do with that.

This problem sounds like it's something stupid. I'm sure the dealer can find it

I cleaned all the crud out th e EGR ports like 9 month ago but did not change the EGR valve.. I did not think the EGR would cause misfire codes..

if it is stuck open it can cause that. but you would think the ECM would throw a Fautl code for EGR

I did not think a EGR would cause a misfire code, or a fuel pump.. I had trouble starting me car once and thought it was a fuel pump...
Never changed the EGR valve (but cleaned EGR ports) and never changed fuel filter!

Just to let you guys know, they guy took it to acura..
They changed all 6 fuel injectors and cleaned the EGR valve..
Charged him $800 for everything but that fixed the misfire codes and the vibration between 50-60 MPH..
