Ok, I just got off the phone with Roth at NRG. He is a pretty cool guy. Easy to bull shit with. He said that he is curently flodded with work and has been doing a little research on this applicaiton. He said he is very interested in getting this product to us quickly and will call TIME FOR SLEEP and/or brianlin87 in one to two weeks. He said he will also stay in touch with me via email. additional test car people in the LA area can contact him at roth@nrginnovations.com hope this works.

Yes, please add me to the list if indeed this engine torque strut will lessen wheel hop caused by a sloppy launch. Excellent research and development being done here and you are to be commended!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you, sq.

hey guys,
Well I have finaly found a great mechanic in Lafayette, LA! He is now they guy who will do what I cant to my car. I had him install my UR pulley yesterday and showed him the threads and pics of 02AV6's stiffy installation and we talked about making it ourselves. He said there is no reason he cant do it and he will get the longer power steering bolt and fabricate the bracket for the othere end of the stiffy where it connects to the shock tower from stainless steel. We are goign to do it on my car and then mass produce it for any of you guys who want it. I am ordering the stiffy from ebay as you read this. it should be done in two weeks so if you want one let me know. it install like 02AV6 but will have a stainless steal bracket. here is the link. I know he has a aftermarket strut bar that mounts diff than the OEM bar. we are going to make it so it will mount to the same bolts as the OEM bar but on top of it.

by the way if you are interested in this product read the WHOLE thread before you ask redundant questions please. we will figure out what it costs to make and ship and then we will put some change on top of that so it is remotely worth it for me to do this for you guys and then I will sell it to you directly as a bolt on kit.

I just looked at the comptech strut bar on their site and it may fit. If you can find someone in my area with that bar who will let us look at it, I don’t see why we cant make it fit both, accommodating the comptech bar. Otherwise you probably will have to modify the part of go back to stock or another bar. Out of curiosity, did you notice any diff. with titanium bar?

I looked at that setup but mine would have to go over the bar or under to attach to the motor and I dont think it will work. Plus he had 3 bolts to work with and I only have 2.

I noticed the same thing... However, it appears that even if you have to buy one of the ones with brackets - like for a Honda - in order to get the right size cylinder, it will still be cheaper than the typical Ingalls unit ($300).

I started this thread. None of these guys will call me back and have expressed no interest in getting it done. If you want a kit for the 6mt, front and rear damper, I will be happy to put it together for $$parts + some $$$extra. I was going to do the STB style install with a fabricated bracket but it turns out that unless you have a STB that connects to the actual strut bolts rather than the OEM STB bolts it wont work and will transmit noise to the cabin if connected directly to the STB. The thread I started for teh 6mt car is the way to go even if you have to fab something. I will look into the auto. Jim

If you can put together a kit that isn't too difficult to install I'd definitely be interested. I'd love to see a price and I don't think anyone will blame you for pricing it to make it worth your time.
