I think a nice semi-gloss full-gloss black would look badass with AM. Ive always been a fan of the charcoal/carbon and black combo, maybe even splurg and go NBP

im in the same boat as you guys.. I have a AM TL-S and i really dont want to color match it but I do want to color match my grill.

Im going to look around and see how much it will be I just dont want to pay 90 bucks like Noah did. And bad thing is that its best to use to the same brand paint

I did a ceramic gloss with ceramic clear, and I'm pretty happy with the results

^ just didn't let it dry all the way before install.

When I was trying to re-install.

Fingernail or something scratched through the paint... FMYLIFE!

Going to re-do it anyways...after I did that.

White and silver both look nice but I think Glossy black would come off as the most "professional" without look too exotic.

The white and the silver both appear to be an addition. (except for Anthracitebeast because the whole car is white! the consistency of the colors is KEY)

however I do think gloss black is the only one that'd work with any exterior color.

And QUESTION:

Why does no one paint the center piece (manifold) portion of our motors. That's Huge news you guys are missing out on.

I'm personally in the process of purchasing new Plemuns for the manifold and a red throttle body spacer (soon as I get my TAX RETURN).

check these puppies out.

Cannot use the stock engine cover though, so i'm going to paint my manifold red and the Plenums gloss black.

Good looks, Better Power

Why does no one talk about this modification to the CL or TL ?

They do talk about it but not as often because I don't think people were too pleased with the mod's price tag vs. horsepower.

That's my guess but I could be wrong.

^Correct. That pretty much summed it up right there. They seem to be a mod that is one of those "well I've done everything else so now I'll try these" sort of thing. They don't make you alot of power unless you have lots of other engine mods. But if you want to learn more do a search on "power plenums". Few threads and dyno's out there.
