Eibach strut bar ???'s

Does anyone have it? (pro control bar) I want a strut brace but I dont want two of them! the eibach one is really nice! It replaces the stock one. Its not on autocarparts.com but it is on the eibach home page. Also tirerack.com sells it for $165.

I don't think the eibach strut bar is out yet. Get the Cusco strut bar.

i got a quote from www.shox.com for 139 for the Eibach strut bar.

BTW i spoke a few Eibach reps at the last Long Beach SEMA/IAS and they were telling me that the bar is completely redesigned and is also adjustable(unsure how this works). The guy that i spoke to was really excited about it.

U may wanna ask if the bar being sold is the new model that has been redisigned.

btw im talking about the accord v6 application which i believe is the same for your car.

Curious

Is there a real need to replace the stock strut tower brace? Is there a huge difference other than cosmetic?

Mainly cosmetic. The Comptech Strut replacement might actually make some little difference, but ultimately since our car comes with a strut bar (more or less) stock, there is no real need for an aftermarket one.

If you follow my post bro, you will see that that is a pic of the CUSCO strut bar from Japan. NOT the eibach strut bar. Post a pic of yours so we can see what it looks like.

BTW, I like the look of the CUSCO bar!!!

I wanna see this new bar that is supposed to be adjustable.

I'll try emailing someone at Eibach about it.

bleh again

I just found an email address and i emailed this:

"Hi, my name is Frank Kim and i am from the www.accordv6.com www.acura-cl.com and www.accordcompany.com websites. I attended the last SEMA event in Long Beach where i was able to speak to one of your representatives and ask about specific products for our cars(98-02 Accord V6).

At the time i was mainly interested in the release of the new Anti-Roll bars(sway bars) that are being redisigned for our cars. Can you tell me what kind of changes are being made to the bar and an ETA for the release?

While speaking to the rep, he also let me know about a new redesigned Pro-Control Bar(front strut tower bar). He was very excited about the new product but did not have any paperwork or brochure he could show me. He did however tell me that the bar would be adjustable. This is the main thing that interests me. I just dont completely understand how a strut tower bar can be adjustable. Any information or pictures would be very helpful.

Just to let you know, i will also be relaying the information to our members at the sites i listed above.

Thanks for your help,

Frank Kim"

When i get a response i'll let you guys know
