Eibach pro Kit Bump stop trimming?

Does anyone know how much I should trim my bump stops when installing Eibach Pro Kit springs on my CLS?

I bought the springs used and they didn't come with the installation instructions. I tried calling eibach tech support, but they are closed on the weekends. Then, I spent half the day searching various websites and forums. I found info on an Accord site stating 30mm Front and 20mm Rear. Now, I realize the CLS and V6 Accord share the same suspension. The Problem is, I imagine there is a weight difference between the V6 and 4cyl Accord and the site didn't specify which model the specs pretained to. Also, I'm fairly certain the CLS weighs more than the V6 Accord, so I'm really uncertain of the accuracy of the info. Need help!

I need to hear from someone who has the pro kit on their CLS who knows exactly what Eibach's instructions call for on our vehicle. Hopefully someone chimes in real soon so I can knock this install out tomorrow.

Thanks in advance for all your help.

I wouldn't trim them especially if you're using stock shocks. Dunno what Eibach says though.

I know for a fact that Eibach recommends trimming the bump stops, although I am not sure how much.

Trimming the bump stops prevents bottoming out on the bump stops, as the car would be lower. Trimming allows for more spring travel.

you gotta trim the bump stops whenever you lower your car, so yes, trim them

Ok! I got the info I needed straight from Eibach this morning. They recommend trimming both the front and rear bump stops 30mm from the bottom for the CLS.

Thanks.
