EGR Block Off Plate?
Was looking at what P2R had to offer and will be picking up the TB spacer (hope it fits with the S/C) and the vacuum block. My question is I know what EGR (exhaust gas recirculator) stands for but I have no idea what the point / side effects of blocking it off is. Could someone shed some light on this for me? Thank you all in advance, Clinton.
Its an emmission feature to recirculate some of the exhaust gases. Blocking it off will let more air in, instead of mixing air and exhaust.
In theory, it should allow you to make a bit more power. I don't know what kind of gains to expect with it though, if any.

Thanks TCM. Didn't even think about the TL threads. So in adittion to the above thread and the numerous form searches on the web I have come to the conclusion that I'm going to leave well enough alone. For such a small dollar amout mod with no real HP gains there are way to many opinions on the pros and cons of this mod throughout the web.
