hey guys, newbie here, ive searched almost every thread i can possibly search. my question is on putting an in dash dvd player where the factory system is. I've gone to crutchfield, pioneer, alpine etc... all of them say it wont fit, but by measurement i see that it would. Am I missing something? by the way i'm an 01 cls w/out navi.

 

I custom made mine. Any decent stero shop should be able to do it within an hour.

 

very nice!! does the shift knob get in the way though when the screen comes down?

 

I know many folks who have gone to the touch screens. There is no kit for the double din so you will have to have one made or make it your self. As for me I have the Poiner D3 in there with all the extras with no problems.
