Please forgive this dumb question but I have not yet crawled under my car to look. Location of oil pan drain plug... Facing rear of vehicle? Near passenger front wheel?

 

Yup that would be it .17 MM wrench will remove it don't forget to replace the little aluminium gasket .Jens

 

Jens - on the same line, is the washer on the oil check bolt for the manual transmission also a crush washer like the oil pan? If so, I guess I should pick some up (or is it the same washer as for the oil pan?).

I just noticed on the 15K/1 year mileage check that we should check the M/T oil color and level.
