Drove 2002 Toyota Avalon
Last night I drove the new Toyota Avalon, Aunt and Uncle got it. Really nice car. Extremely smooth and super quiet. Some power not a lot. I think it is like low 8s to 60 and mid 16s. But most the people driving it don't really go fast. I mean they are in their 60s. Some cool features on the dash. 8X3 inch screen with Avg. MPG, MPH, Inst MPG, temp, compass, cool dash things on radio. Names stations like 105.5 Kiss FM. Really impressed.
On the way home I sat in the back and he took it to 90mph range and it felt so smooth and super quiet. Back seat is really big too lots of room in that car, MPG was in the mid 20s and nice size trunk. I think for people that age group who just need a vechile to get from point A to B that is a great car. Priced right too, with every option cept spoiler theirs was $32,600 sticker.

I saw one today with a body kit (it's a sad world where Toyota Avalons have factory body kits, and sporting Acuras do not). It looked pretty good, IMO, kind of like a sports LS430.

PGA - Nice review. I've yet to check one out. I'll have to go have a looksie when I get a free moment!

I was seriously considering an Avalon, I like their exterior styling. It would look ill and exclusive if lowered and 19" were applied. and then I test drove the CL and never looked back

It's got a decent 3.0L V6 (200HP I believe), but it's no match for my car...hehe...
