I think he saying that not all TLs in the US have them but if you wanted them installed thats what they did instead of doing them in theh high beams

A lot of my friends just keep their headlights on all the time, maybe you're mistaking the HID's being on as DRLs, makes sense if they're actually in the low beam housing.

Nope. Parking & tail lights are not on.
As I said must be a dealer installed thing down here. A lot of old people & people that don't know any better.

I see them too down here, but usually at full brightness. I assume they use a relay to the lights, but a dealer option is probably possible since the canadian models would have them.
