drivers side seat...

Can someone check on their CL if the side of the drivers seat sticks out? I noticed this after i got my car serviced. If i touch it, it feels like hard plastic. It makes the seat buldge/poke out on the side where the lever is to fold the seat up.

And one more thing, the passengers side does not look like this so this is why i'm asking.

I assume you are referring to the seatback? What you will feel on the drivers side if the seatback on the left side (doorside) is the airbag below the seat covering. In the event of a collision the special seams on the side of the seatback will rip open allowin the airbag to deploy. The passenger side seatback is the same except that the bag is on the right side of the seatback.Jens

I'm aware that we have passenger side airbags there but it actually sticks out and the passengers side doesn't. I guess i'll have to take it into the dealer to show them.
