Question Driver's seat question

Possibly a dumb question, it seems like my driver''s seat is leaning inwards. I haven't checked to see if it's somehow off the track; doesn't feel like it. Anyone ever have any problems with theirs?

Thanx

You must be carrying too much cash in your right pocket. This could be a benefit, because you have a natural gangster lean. Could be the inner springs on the right side of the seat are broken. The seat and back covers are easy to remove. I suggest that you pull the seat; disconnect the back from the bottom cushion; remove the seat cover; inspect the springs and padding.

I actually let my coworker drive it back from lunch today and the passenger's side feels fine. Even he said the seat felt a little "tilted"

The seats in the CL-S ARE uncomfortable (IMO ne-way). The bottoms are too short, so I always feel like I cant lean back a little because then my legs are unsupported. I have been driving mine for 1.5 yrs, and I still dont have a comfortable seating position. It has alot to do with the steering wheel tho, it doesnt go tilt down far enough and doesnt telescope. Overall I feel like I am sitting on the car, not in it. My Mustang feels tons sportier as far as driving position, sorry to say.

My gf always complains about how hard the seats are, and I dont disagree. On a long trip I think they would make my butt & back sore.

They look great tho, even with the major butt print on the drivers seat.

edit: It seems as if the car was designed around someone either very short, or with very long arms.

I think all Honda passenger car lower seat cushions are too short for long legged drivers. I replaced the seats in a '88 Integra with Recaros because of the short lower seat cushions, but that was when I was single and had money.

Forgive my stupidity, where can I get those and what exactly are they?

The seats are perfect

I am 6' 4" and i love the way the CL seats are. They are perfect . Those seats hug you and also the passenger seats always score me points when girls sit in it especially during this season when i can use the heated seats .

I love the seats in my CL, granted mine aren't the Type S seats. My dad always comments on how supportive they are when he's in my car, and hes used to a BMW with sport seats which are pretty supportive. They are also plenty comfortable for long road trips.

As for the right side lean, check the springs like clswhite said. You should check the track though first as it may have come off.

The seats are comfortable, but getting a BJ can be cumbersome for the babe with the console in the way. I think my passenger seat is leaning a little to the left.

For spacers, you can use washers, metal pipe, aluminium rod or block cut and drilled to size. What you use will depend on how much lean you have to correct. Any Lowes or Home Depot in the Atlanta area should have the material you need.

My driver's seat also leans inward. I don't know if it's by design or set wrong at install. I've never sat in any other CL's so I thought it was just me. I have sat in a TL and it didn't have the same problem.
