Driver door switch malfunction possible?
I recently installed a new Compustar Pro series alarm and the alarm itself is working just fine. Initially there was a problem where I would try to remote start the car but the factory alarm went off every time. So I did some research and it turns out there is a blue disarm-no-unlock wire that's in the drivers door that had to be hooked up to the compustar. When this happened I could not disable the alarm by unlocking the vehicle with the compustar remote, I had to use the factory remote to unlock and then lock in order to turn it off. Since then about 2 months have passed with no issues.
The problem... 2 days ago I come home, lock the car with Compustar remote. Couple hours later I hear crazy honking in my driveway. My factory alarm just went off on it's own. The only thing is that this time when I used the Compustar remote to unlock the vehicle it turned the factory alarm off. And this morning same thing happened again when I came in to work about 10 minutes later I get a call from one of our sales guys telling me that my car is going off.
I did a little inspection and noticed that the rubber cover on the driver's door switch is ripped but otherwise the switch looks like new.
Is it possible that the switch is playing tricks on me? Anyone have any other suggestions?

Can you actually tell me if your door switches click when you push them all the way in ? I noticed my passenger side clicks weirdly and driver side does not.

Do not hook that blue wire into the compustar. Ground it out instead. That will disable the factory completely. That is the problem. I had it happen with my old CLS with a Viper system. And mine worked fine for a while also & just started to act up 1 day. After this was done It was fine.
