Dripping from Engine

My coworker asked me a question regarding his Civic....when he starts the car up (say after it's been off overnight), he notices that there is a pipe where water is dripping...he sees it's a pipe between the middle of the engine and the passenger seat (I assume it's an exhaust pipe leading to the exhaust). Anyways, he says there is quite a bit of water dripping from it. I know after driving and having the A/C on, it will drip, but his concern is that the car has been off overnight. Is this normal? What's the problem or explanation of this?

Hmm, maybe his washer fluid resevoir is leaking? Form the location of the leak its either that(hopefully) or maybe he has a crack in his radiator.
BTW, what color is the fluid that's dripping?

Fluid is clear...like water. Funny thing is that it happens right when he starts the engine at the beginning of the day. If it's condensation, i'd think it would have all dried out overnight. According to the dealership he called, they said it's normal. I would imagine it would only be normal if the car is running or has been running....but for it to drip quite a bit right when the car is started makes it sound kinda fishy.

Probably from the AC condesor. Turn off the AC for a day and see in the morning.
