The two main Accord V6 guys I know (that post here) are SIRSIG (sp?) and AV06 or somethin glike that.
They I believe are very happy with their dr. evil's; are modded like crazy (boosted + J32 swap, etc.) and "have a lot of fun" with their cars.

I have been considering going there WHEN my tranny dies, the only thing that scares me is that my buddy had a lexus ES and he replaced the tranny (cant believe a toyota tranny died) with a shop that wasnt the dealer and it crapped out on him again FAST. but I doubt DR.Evil would screw it up.

small update: i checked my fluid a few days ago, little low but the fluid was also cold. but when i wiped it off the dipstick on a clean white towel, it looked very red still, i would not say it looked brown at all, more of a maroon if anything. this to me was suprising even if it was only about 9,000 miles. keeping in mind i do not go easy on this thing, i hold 60 in 2nd, 90 in 3rd, i've taken this thing past 120 in 4th numerous times, many redlines, and even a few bangs off the limiter here and there. i do have a few minor issues, but i need to rule out other things before i accuse the transmission.
what car is it in?

Just a thought for those who can't afford or don't want to give up their CL-S, there
probably will be more and more of us that run out of years and/or mileage and
warrantee coverage, and who will need a tranny replaced. Does it make sense to approach the idea of doing a group buy offer to Dr. Evil, not only from us,
but from the TL site and those with similar Honda-affected V6 trannys. That would give us a monetary boost and perhaps a quicker turn-around in transmission exchanges. What do you think?

Unfortunately it;s done through the-site-that-shall-not-be-named-because-it's-a-"competing"-site-so-it's-censored-from-any-posts, so I'm not sure if the admins of Azine would allow you all to get a break.

The main thing i dont like about the 5 speed Dr Evil (which we had a huge discussion on over in the TL side) is they wont tell us what they did or how they achieved the 3rd gear issue on the 5 speed. It didnt seem like it would be hard to over come the problem on the 4 speed as their problems wernt as bad as the 5. All we had was their word on it. And their warranty wasnt that good for their word/warranty You CL guys should just convert to a 6 speed. It would be really simple for you. It was actually really easy in the TL
