don't waste your time ordering from Carparts
FYI (buyers beware):
I recently cancelled an order with Carparts.com after waiting for more than 1.5 months for the delivery of Eibach springs. They are a joke! I can't believe any reputable company will have you wait that long for any order.
Throughout the wait, I received no less than 15 emails always with the same lame excuse that they are locating the product and should/will have it by such and such date, and then another email to extend the date. By the 3rd week I finally got fed up and sent them an email, and guess what? No reply other than they are investigating my email, but no response was ever given until I cancelled the order 3 weeks thereafter.
They advertise a coupon with a 33% discount and no shipping, but who cares since they can't deliver. I gather that they work harder on the orders than net them more money and leave you in the back of the cue if your order is less profitable. This is no way of doing business though.
I'm pissed, what a waste of my time!
BTW, I have yet to receive any apologies whatsoever.

I've ordered stuff from them in the past with no problems. I think every internet based retailer will have issues like this from time to time. However, it's not excusable. They should offer an apology and a rebate on a future purchase or something like that.

I just ordered an AEM CAI using that same coupon. I got it 2 weeks ago. It wasnt the fastest shipping, but everytime I had a question, I used their online custormer service, and they answered my questions. The springs were probably backordered. I tried buying a DC Sports Strut bar, but it was backordered till FEB 2001. Sorry to hear your order didn't come through. Good luck next time if there is one.

I ordered most of my Christmas presents online also and didn't have any problems. I've ordered a ton of stuff in the 5+ years I've been on the internet and rarely have had a problem. I guess I've been lucky.

I too have had good experience in the past ordering online. I would guess I've ordered close to 100 items from online retailers (ebay excluded) without a hitch, from e-tailers big and small. Buy.com, Amazon.com, Barnesandnoble.com, llbean, eddiebauer, cabellas are some of the bigger ones, though I've heard of problems with Amazon. Most of my purchases from smaller fronts were for computer related items < $300 and though in the past many were sketchy about indicating OEM/Whitebox items, all delivered in reasonable time.

Most of the detailing kit stuff I ordered during XMAS got messed-up in transit. I will spare the names of the quilty ones.
There was one guy down in Santa Anna/Costa Mesa that had Zaino stuff. He actualy gave me some samples of stuff (He was out of the regular bottles). Also, had someone drive my stuff to my door when he found out that UPS was going to be late. (Thank you to:
