I have had my CL-S for 3 years, and i ma waiting for the lease to end to start modding. What cars will i be able to take with comptech headers, comptech exhaust, comptech b-pipe, and an AEM V2? I also do drive in SS alot so i should be able to take a few cars out? Also what kind of stress on my tranny? i Am still on my first with only 33k miles on it.
THanks

hehehe...why are u waiting for ur three year lease to be up...won't u want another car after three years of driving it anyway. Well w/ I/H/E/B-pipe...you'll be able to hang w/ some nice cars...if u can drive good. W/ a good driver u should be able to hang w/ some 350Z's and G35 coupes. Shit like that. U should'ove modded from day one...won't affect ur warranty!!
Yeah I'm with chap, you'll undoubtedly be able to beat cars that run a slower quarter mile time than you. As far as tranny wear, with those mods driving around in sport shift all day, its likely it won't last much longer
Just go with comptech everything, and get the tranny cooler (someone makes one
).
Any car that is slower than yours is what you will beat, unless your a horrible driver and then you will just lose.
If your waiting for your warranty to be up wait for the 100k tranny warranty to be up.

YOu should be able to beat most cars that are either within or below the CL's class. So IS300's, some Maximas, some Altimtas, etc. There's really no answer to this since they can be modded as well, which in turn could make you the loser of a race. Just mod the car for yourself and don't worry about what you can beat... b/c on any day any car can win (you can come up against a turboed Civic sleeper and lose), so don't mod a car for that reason unless you're building a race car.
Oh and phipark is right... no AEM V2 for the CL-S.

FYI...AEM doesn't have the V2 for the type-s. Just get the normal one.

Just an FYI to all of you CL-S 6MT, I just asked AEM about availability of the V2 for my ride ... They said "There are plans but we do not have any additional information at this time."
I don't know, maybe I'll just wait for it. I'm not in a big hurry to get one ... or maybe I'll just buy on of those $50 ones on e-bay until it comes out. Anyway, thought I would pass on the word.
