Any other things I might want to look at working on in my 03 cL when doing the seal gaskets and cleaning the solenoid filter screens ( hoping the screens are dirty and fixes my trans shifting problem as o heard this helps many people who were told get a new trans). It would be nice to be able to check on some other things while the car is being worked on.
thanks. For instance the speed control sensor. Where is that ?

I recently had the Valve cover gaskets done on my CLS6. At the same time my guy cleaned the EGR passages, cleaned the throttle body and put in a new gasket, replaced the IACV, and put in new spark plugs, also did the cam cap seals because that was also leaking a bit.

Just do a look over for oil leaks. Otherwise, I wouldn't go randomly replacing items that don't need to be touched.
