Does the CL S deactivate the AC compressor at WOT?
When I am driving and the AC is on (working great) if I go to pass and get to WOT the air gets less cool, nowhere near warm, just less cold while I am at WOT. When I release the pedal the temperature returns to full cold.
I asked a friend that is a Toyota tech what he thought was going on and he said some cars deactivate the compressor at WOT to give more power to the engine since the compressor causes parasitic power loss.
