Does anyone have a Staggered setup

Does anyone have wider tires on the back than the front? Would this work for our car or not? Pics??

Please let me know..................

no good for FWD cars may cause to lose control same as having grippy tires in front and shitty in the rears....not to mention it because more expensive when it comes to tires and the lack of rotating them

You're likely to get a bunch of folks coming to you and saying "uhh, dude, you know this car is FWD, right?"

19" in back, 18" in front looks kinda cool, though! Might even be practical, putting a bit more weight on the drive wheels, but not sure about that.

IMHO the staggered look on a fwd is car is rice as it serves no purpose whatsoever and may in the long run harm the car's handling.

When I think of staggered, I think it means like 18x8 front and 18x19.5 rear, not 18s front and 19s rear.

And staggered on FWD is for idiots.

whoa...nelly...those are some freaking wide wheels...that's like dragster style...18X19.5

yeah...I was thinking...it really doesn't make any sense to have more weight in the front of our car. It's already front heavy and in corners I push (understeer) all the time. I would imagine it would be even worse with more weight up front.

I was in the process of upgrading tp 19" all around, two wheels at a time. the 18's in the front turned out to be kinda practical with a little more meat to help with a better hookup and ride quality as compared with the 19's out back. As for the handling, Its better if not the same. The wheel well's gaps actually are even now too.

the only true thing that can be said about a staggered setup on a front drive is that it will cause a slight increase in understeer since the thinner less contact rubber is in the front. the rears will make more grip when the fronts start to slip. That said, maybe the staggered setup should be reversed for the CL. and it also looks cool to have some fat ass rears, but anybody who knows the drivetrain on out car would see it as odd. You'd be surprised how many people don't know what cars ar FWD and RWD. to each his own.
