Did you have to modify (cut) the bumper for those to fit in the cutout?
How much $$$$ did both those muffles set you back?
Modified Magnaflow 14815 mufflers is what it is. Had to chop 1 tip and shorten it, reweld and sand. Was a PITA but well worth it... No bumper cutting was needed and everything fit tucked just how I wanted it. I had a thread a little while back on it. Total spent...All 304 Stainless ~1G

As long as they are spaced correctly I don't see why they wouldn't.

Those are the Porsche tips right?

Does he jus press a button on the KEYFOB to open the doors?

Solenoids in the doors to pop them open.

Exactly what I was thinking.

The skirts on the red one are much more subtle and don't really break up the styling the way the skirts on the silver one does.

I despise everything about bodykits, but those wide body CLs are hot.

EDIT- Actually, I like the red one much more then the silver one. The rear bumper is understated compared to the silver one. Plus the rear BBK and those wheels really set it off.

EDIT2- I would've left the door handles. And kept the stock mirrors.

You can't...

Well I don't know what kind of bumper that was but everything was custom molded...

The gas cap wasn't a big deal considering all the other custom work that was done.

i know but its sooo ugly

I don't mind spending time fabbing the bumper, it would look good with the TL skirts.

I don't mind it considering the car was silver.

If it were another color...probably would of stood out too much.

But like that...doesn't bother me.

I meant mufflers, didn't he replace the whole muffler from the huyndia?
I didnt think he just cut the tips off and welded them on I THOUGHT he did the whole muffler. I apologize for typing tips when I meant muffles.

Seems like all the punks always trying to belittle people and picking on people for asking questions are all under 20. I used to be a wise a$$ like you guys 10 years ago but I GREW UP. The only difference between me and you young guns is i owned a NEW CL when I was your age not a 8 year old CL.
Like I said B4 when this forum started people tried helping others learn about these cars now everyone is just waiting for someone to say something stupid so you can belittle them and make yourself feel good by making fun of others. This forum really went to Sh()T!

I just got an e-mail from the place that made that wide body on both of the Cl's. I asked them if they could make me a bumper like that one or point me in a direction of where they got it from so i could attempt it. They said it would be a BITCH to do and it would run me the cost of the bumper, 20hrs at $80.00 an hour and they would need my original bumper for 2 weeks.

Yeah this is one of those things i think I'll sit on for awhile.

I asked him about the tips on the red CL and he thinks he used ones off a Audi

Funny that you say that, a local shop I used to go to with my Audis ALWAYS had those Porsche tips just lying around lol. that you can't find them. They aren't actually mufflers though, they are simply the tips of them cut off and re-welded to stock/aftermarket mufflers. Its a simple process really, shouldn't cost you anything more than $70 bucks at a welding/exhaust shop!

Quick Reply: Does anyone have pics of dual muffler tips like on the newer TLS on the CLS?
