Does anybody else hate this feature?
I hate that fake aluminum shifter thingy, you know what I mean. The gate whoseiwhatsit. Is there a real aluminum kit that I can put on there?

yah i notice that too.but there is no way or any aftermarket stuff to replace.what i do to my cls is.try not to scratch the shift gate.leave it the way it is,until i find some cool aftermarket to replace.

If i am not mistaken.....someone on this forum knew how to get there shifters chromed.....maybe doing a search will help...i know it was a while ago..maybe spring/summer of 2001.
Personally...i would love to get my hands on a chrome shift gate...my gf lil bro has a jetta...and the best thing about tthe interior on that car is the CHROME shiftgate......looks so classy and sport.............just what the CL-S is all about !

I can't believe I didn't think of this before. The shifter gate will amost cerainlybe backwards from ours. Insted of the sportshift part going toward the left, it will go towar the right. Well, fuck that idea
