Does any of these shift-knobs fit the 6 sp. CL-S

these knobs are for the RSX or the Integra Type R and the S2000. Can anybody who has the ability to check to see if the RSX types S OE shift knob fit or the OE S2K shift knob fit the Cl-S?

Cool one of these has to screw right on avoid any other alterations with the shift boot.

RSX/DC5-R Titanium

S2000

S2K

They will fit, I have the Titanium one on my car. You do however need the adjustment nut to line up the numbers.

I'm using the a JDM Honda one that's got the red recessed lettering for a 5spd.

The S2000 one is pricey at about $160ish mail ordered or $200+ at the Honda dealer.

As for the adjustment nut, it is so you can adjust the height of the knob and to line it up in place by locking it underneath. The RSX one comes as a kit.

wait why didn't you get the 6 speed JDM knob Titanium its fawking hot...no doubt it will get hot in the summer but it goes with the Titanium trim a bit are you saying it will screw in no problem but I have to make sure it goes all the way down. I think the JDM one 6 speed is $140 but the MOMO I wanted cost $100 rather have something that screws right in.

I had gotten the 5spd one about 5 years ago when it first came out on a trip to Japan for my Prelude.

As for the color, it isn't that silver. Bit darker and it's really heavy when you hold it by itself. It is definately not $140. The cheapest place I've found it for is on this site.

It will screw on fine and go all the way down but the numbers won't line up straight so you will need that adjustment nut.

As above the MOMO doesn't screw on. It has rubber spacers and utilizes set screws.

Yea MOMO makes nice shifters but I want one that screws in and goes with the Interior. On all my stick-shift cars Ive replaced the stock shifter except on this one I want something that fits perfect and looks perfect in my interior.

The RSX JDM is over $200 and the NSX type R is $235 Im getting outta control here. Let me see if I can get cheaper but this is pure Titanium and direct from Japan.

I seriously considered the Momo Shot (like Shawn S has), but decided that I really want something leather wrapped like the stock knob. I thought about the Momo RaceAirLeather too, but didn't like how it felt.

If the stock knob was just a tad lower and a tad heavier, I'd be happier. I like the shape and style of the stock.

Aaron T looks great but check this out. They just came out with the New Accord-R Titanium knob for $225 same as the NSX-R

but most people recommend the S2000 for looks and weight of the knob but looking into the S2000 forum this is the perfect knob for us.

http://www.ricks2k.com/products/shiftknob.html

here is a pick

they are called Voodoo knobs and come in all different materials and 2 different sizes.. I like the Magnum spun Titanium for $120 only...its suppose to shorten the s2K shifter by an inch and that shifter is a lot lower than ours. I already tried to contact Rick to see if he can engrave mine like in the pic but to say CL-S but the S in red

oh and these are countersunk so the screw right in and will fit nicely with the shift boot.

I had gotten a whole bunch of JDM items back in the 97 for this car. As for spending, you spent a few dollars on the your 6spd to write that long signature.

I'm not a fan of the cueball style shift knobs. I like the one I'm using now because of the shape. The egg shape feels fragile but made of a strong material. Not to mention it feels silky smooth.

Here is the pedal shot you wanted to see and a better picture of the knob with the boot in place.

wait the shift boot fits right under the knob...I heard the S2000 knob is the best one out there for weight purposes.
