Does the Abosrber Scratch????????
No way, been using it for years on many different cars I've owned.
Best thing I have ever used to dry!
Just like anything else when you dry, make sure your car is very clean. And try not to drop it when you use it, I could easily see it picking up some fine rocks/dirt.

the absorber itself won't scratch the paint. i've been using it for 2 years now and never has it scratched my paint. the only thing that i could imagine that would lead the absorber to scratching your paint is your car (or the absorber) not being completely clean while you attempt to dry.

Do you guys drag yours flat over the surface of the car or do you have another method (not like pullT's method...) ?

I never had a problem with my Absorber, but now I exclusively use an electric LEAF BLOWER to dry my car.
Nice & safe because nothing touches the paint except the 140-MPH blast of air.

Has anyone ever heard of water sheeting? This is where after you've soaped the car, you take off the whatever sprayer you have on your hose and starting from your roof you just let the water pour down like a waterfall as you go from roof to hood, roof to trunks, and the side doors? This works rather well. It makes all the water on the car into tiny little drops of water and then you use a microfiber towel to wipe it off. I personally use this http://www.properautocare.com/bigbludryint.html . Works great...you'll be amazed at how well this works compared to chamois and terry cotton cloths. This is definitely worth it's money!

Shawn, i'm also going to try that in the future. But if you want a really spot less shine rinse the car off before blowing it with distilled water.

I have a WELL for my water supply at the house and we have a Culligan filtration and softening system that purifies ALL the water including the line that runs down to my garage.
So my car does get washed with water that is as pure as the stuff you buy for a buck a bottle.
