Does the 04TL still share platform with the USDM Accord?
The last generation CL&TL shared the same platform with the USDM Accord.
What's the new 2004 TL share its platform with, if anything? Is it now separate from the USDM Accord? I was under the impression it is its own thing now.
If you actually know (no guesses) someone please explain which Honda/Acura cars share platforms and which don't.
Thanks.

Yes, it's built off the Accord. It's built right next to them in Ohio. It is built on the new Gen Accord.

Accord-TL
old Accord platform-CL
Odessey-MDX
Euro Accord-TSX (not really a shared platform, more the same thing with diff badges)

Its obvious that it very very very simular to the TSX.
Here is a part of an article i found on the TSX.
"The TSX is based upon the European version of the Honda Accord. The Euro Accord is sportier and positioned further upscale than its American counterpart. Not surprisingly, use of this car as a platform lends a more continental feel to the TSX. To begin with, there is the issue of size. Unlike the top Honda built for stateside buyers, the Euro version hasn't been super-sized. TSX is about half a foot shorter than the U.S. Accord, and two inches narrower."

EDIT:
opps i was a little late on that one.
But i thought the PILOT and MDX shard a platform, not the van. hmmmmmmmmmmm

it's based on the same platform, but there are way more differences in the suspension and other components when compared to the very similar 98-02 accord and 99-03 TL.
