Do you think I'll be have tranny issues soon

So I pulled from a light where the road almost already faces you to the right(they way I was turning)I left the light hard,but not hard enough to break the tires loose.I hit a wet patch on the road 5-10ft away and started spinning so I then layed into the throttle after making it threw the wet the car chirped 2nd and started for 3rd when the tranny seemed to slip as rpm's rose to 6000+ then it chirped 2nd again now I totally slowed my role and trans has not sliped or acted funny before or after this.Am I going to have a problem soon or did the computer not understand what was going on and was trying to correct it self.

wouldnt vsa or tcs kick in and not let u spin the tires? but u will have trans problems, every auto will have that problem

I usally drive with the TCS off.I have never had a problem before,and it has not mis shifted at all after this one time.

if you get the tranny replaced,your good to go right?

problem free for longer. the issue with the trans is still their.

The only real reason I'm concerned is I'm going to be filling the nitrous bottle monday.And Im sure if the tranny slips and I hit the rev limiter on the spray the car will cut the fuel and there will also be engine damage.kinda nervous about spraying it now.Not only could I kill the tranny but the motor at the same time.One or the other I could deal with the loss,but both The family would be eating oodles of noodles for a couple of months.

yes, if u spray and hit the limiter, the fuel will cut but spark will still be their. u could have a nitrous back fire or damage ur engine. i shift at 7k. wont go past that. the engine will shift on its own before the limiter, but for that second u will still be spraying while switching gears so the revs will climb higher and potentially hit the limiter on the shift, havent had it happen on my tl-s.
also with the added power and u pushing about 300hp (engine), u will blow ur trans sooner bc of the increase in power and driving.

I'm just hopeing it was some kind of fluke going from dry to wet to dry.Either way I will be testing it out monday night most likely and if something breaks be sure I'll be posting it.
