Do you have a perfectly quiet valve train ?

Put my car back together after the valve adjustment today.
Started the car and was totally amazed. There was no valve tick at all and it sounded so smooth I could actually hear the exhaust clearly front the front of the car.
Went for a 2-3 minute ride and came back, popped the hood and now it sounds the same as before I adjusted them.
I know they are right on.
