Do you guys like the Acura front end bra? I think it looks kinda of aggressive but it also protects the paint, what do you think?

I've never worn a bra (haha) because I've always wondered if the paint under it wouldn't fade the same as the exposed paint and the car would look weird eventually. I wish I had SOME sort of front-end protection though, because I have a lot of tiny rock chips.

Not a good idea for dark colors IMO. I had one on mine for about a week and it started to make these rubbing scuff marks where the top seam was slapping against the hood... which was a whole other story when doing >60mph because you'll hear "flap flap flap..." all down the road. Not so cool

I never drive my car without it. I have the Acura one. It comes off very easy. It is okay to put on. It fits pretty tight. I have not had any flapping or paint fading. I have the silver. I always keep a good coat of wax under the bra. That should stop any off the scuffs. It is also not a good idea to let thrash get under it and leave it there too long.

Could someone who has a bra tell me how to put the bottom half on correctly? I don't have instructions so I don't know what I'm doing. There are snaps that go somewhere in the wheel well, but the only thing I see there are plastic plugs, and I seem to have broken one trying to take it out, so I don't know if that's where the snap is supposed to go. Also, what do you do with the plastic "flaps" that are on the part that goes into the engine bay? Thanks!

The bra serves its purpose. If not for the ugly look, I'd keep it on the car... Ever since I took it off from my normal driving, I've been getting nothing but ding on the front bumper.... what sucks is it's silver beneath Have u noticed (for those of u that have silver) that beneath ur bumper, it's black? What gives? Anyhow, it takes me about 5 minutes to take both pieces off,

I actually wear a "bro", J/K! The bra is great for road trips but a biatch to put on and take off every time it rains, as we do get our fair share in the Pacific NW.

Another option?
I had Acura of Seattle put on the StoneGuard protection. It's the clear film that is applied onto the car. It's guaranteed not to yellow or be defective for 4 or 5 years. Except for a slight line and a few tiny bubbles it hardly effects the looks. I have friends with the fabric covers and they have all had paint problems or the cover starts to look like garbage. Hopefully the StoneGuard film will work out for me...

Sorry, I thought I had my bra on when I took the pics. Only one has in on and it is from the side. Sorry. Ignore the text on the bottom. My Dad had that on, and could not figure out how to get it off.
