I saw somewhere that indicated we do. Seems like if that tranny was built for SUV duty on the MDX it should have no problem with our CLS's. Just curious. And if so, are the MDX's failing as well. I know the TL's have problems like we do.

 

MDX does not have SS shift

 

My guess it uses the Honda Odyssey tranny since the MDX is based its platform

 

You'll probably end up with a differently geared tranny. You'll have poorer high end speed with better low end ratio for hauling power.
