Do our cars run hot?

I've been noticing lately that if I am standing next to the car while it is on I can feel the heat coming from under the car. Then other times while driving I can feel a little bit of heat coming through the firewall. Is it just me or does anyone else notice this?

No,I haven't noticed that my CL-S runs hot at all but my old s2000 would burn your leg through the firewall. Is your water temp gauge in normal area?

yea water temp is fine. the only that concerns me is that on my legend the temp gauge wasn't working then again it was 8+ years old when it happened.

accord/prelude stat civic fan switch...flows coolant through the engine at 180* instaed of 200* cooler head temps less detonation ,more advanced timing is the hope...

Yes the engine gets hot quickly. Warm up the engine, Drive the car hard redling twice, come back.. park the car, keep it running, open the hodd and just watch how the Radiator fans start switching on and off and blowing hot air all around...

It is NORMAL!
