Yeah, and the result?

That dealer dropped the case. The defendant is continuing with that case seeking loss from the case. The dealer got a nasty reputation from the day they started the case. They were real smart. I hope Sunnyshine management is smart enough NOT to follow the other dealer's footstep.

Any case, whether you win or lose, is still a hassle!

Dude that was jim ellis( audi/VW dealer ), they are a bunch of DICKS. Actually put a downpayment on a 2001 A4 turbo with Quattro....waited for delivery...days...a weeek...they " could not find one ".. I said I would take either a black/silver/ or blue with quattro and the 5 speed. They took my money then waited for me to give in and agree to pay more for another package that they could find. I was getting the quattro with cold weather package and a 5 speed. Told them to give me my money back and went and bought the CLS. I know a guy here at work that swears by german cars and he hates them too. They are bad news. SOOO SLAM SLAM SLAM jim ellis....oh and another thing...their commercial makes me want to kill myself. Anyone else here in ATL who may have heard it can testify ....

Nashua:

I purchased my car there on 9/1/00 and was very happy with the saleswoman who I dealt with. I only went there for the first free oil change and that was it. I'm now at 47,000 miles and have been going to the local Honda place for service checks. I'll go to North Hampton Acura for my 60,000 major where we purchased my wife's car there. I've had real good luck with Craig, the service manager there and my wife's TL.

I was looking to trade my CL-S toward a 2002 Roush Stage 3 Mustang (the 360R model) and $18,500 was the best offer I had for my car with 47k miles for a trade. With that type of trade offer I might as well keep the CL-S and store the Roush during the winter. North Hampton Acura offered me $18k toward the new 6 speed CL-S which I test drove.

Thanks for the tip!
ps
When I get my 360R, I want your ass over at New England Dragway like you promised me earlier this year...
Only kidding

Yeah baby, I will be at the drag strip THIS WEEK.

1) I switched to my Nittos on Friday!
2) I talked my wife about the DR event and said oh Yeh why not.. She prefers a Sat or Sunday with a tail-gate picnic lunch.
3) I am loving to be there

The New England Dragway is opening after tomorrow. On Wednesday, It's looks like it would be raining.

So, I am considering Saturday or Sunday.

Are you interested?

Both Saturday and Sunday work for me. Give me a day and time and where to meet you there and I'll get back to you. Do you need to supply your own helmet?

Ok, I called. but I am really disappointed.

Things that happened since March 12, 2002:

1) Acura wrote to Sunnyside Acura.
2) the Sunnyside GM called Acura Case Manager and "explained" the 100 miles road test.
3) no one called me or notified me of a resolution. :'(

Today, the rep told me:

1) We are sorry for the horrible service you got from Sunnyside Acura
2) Sunnyside Acura is a seperate company so we can memdate sanctions or force them to service your CLS.

I said:
1) the issue should be re-addressed with the Regional General Customer Manager and SunnySide Acura's GM.
2) If I can't service my car at the nearest dealer, this would be the last Acura Car that I would ever buy as it's not logical to drive 80 miles each time I need to service my Acura car. I am forced to do so and this is not by choice.
3) I expected more from Acura Customer care.

We will see how this BS would go.

I'm even open to Wednesday night if the weather changes where it might not be as crowded as on a weekend and maybe get a few extra runs in.

I'd only be able to spend 3 hours there on a Saturday or Sunday.

Email me at:

No need for Helmet for CLS. Helmet is for 13s or less. You can even have a passenger in the CLS while you run.

I will let you know where and when to meet

Latest Update!

I finnally got a reply from Acura Regional Service Manager.

Here is the status:
1) Sunnyside CAN refuse to Service my CLS.
2) Acura CAN'T force Sunnyside Acura to service my CLS.
3) Sunnyside CAN'T refuse to do "Warrenty Work" on my CLS.

The Acura Reginal Service Manager said:
1) We are not happy to what happend. ("Break down of Communication").
2) Sunnyside Acura's GM is one of the Best Ex-Service Manager. :sqnteek:
3) It is up to me to contact Sunnyside and sort it out.

I was also surprised at the "mis-imformation" of facts related to Acura:
Sunnyside Acura told Acura that "The Accumulative miles after the multiple "drop-ins" of my CLS in the Sunnyside Service Shop amount to a 100 miles raod test".
The fact is that I droped my CLS in there Service Shop only once and the second day that I picked up my CLS, a 100 miles was accumulated. :shakehd:

Anyways, I do not give a shit nor a fuck if Sunnyside Acura does not want my hard earned money. The good thing is that Sunnyside Acura CAN'T refuse to do warrenty work on my CLS. And, I have a 100,000 miles/ 6 years warrenty ....
