Do all newer gen CL's have Direct Ignition?

Do all newer gen CL's have Direct Ignition?
Hey guys, im trying to figure out some problems that the 2000-2002 accordv v6's that are having with taking advantage of mods.
I have a 2001 AV6 coupe with comptech headers, comptech exhaust and AEM intake. WIth those three, i dynoed at 164whp. Thats sad, those are like the same as a stock v6.
ANd does anyone know what the california emissions require? I notice that we in Cali have different designations for emission.
Ours are KA(californa emissions) and others are KL(49 state emissions).
