Do aftermarket brakes affect the ABS system?

I was looking at Kevin M's brembo brakes and I thought aftermarket brakes and what they do. If you get better stopping power with them, I would tend to think that the ABS would a little more sensitive then normal. For example with Aftermarket brakes maybe it takes less pedal pressure to get the car to stop effectively, so if you are pressing the brake pedal and it's more sensitive, then maybe the abs is more sensitive. I'm just curious and I wonder if someone can shed some light on this.

Kevin,
I don't notice any effect on the the antilocks (ABS System).

I haven't tried it (yet). But, I would think the ABS would work better. The ABS measures the wheel speed -- they would have to allow for different pads compositions *and* even the opposite -- wet brakes and pads.

(yea, just my theory...)
