did you have to custom make a bracket for the fog lights? I'm not entirely sure if I can maybe mount it in my roadlamp housing.

Nope... I took 2003 inserts and cut the back of them large enough to support the projectors. Then I fiber-glassed the back of the inserts to be form fitting around the projectors. Sanded them down and painted with plasti-dip. Turned out ok but I am eventually going to go with a cleaner install with different projectors.

In regards to mounting in the 01 road lamps I would say no. However, anything is possible but it will be very difficult with projectors.

I really want to do this as my next mod this summer. There's no way i could this myself and theretrofitsource recommended installers quoted me ~ $800 if I sent them the headlights

yea I'm in a dilemma now on whether I even want to attempt to try this and mess up the headlights or just save up and the bite the bullet on the install. or use my funds on other projects. so clean though...
