divets in my seat...leather stretched!!!
Ok, guys/gals...don't laugh, this is a serious question
I've had my CL-S since about November 2001. I noticed about a month after I brought it home the driver's seat had a some what noticable impression of my azz. Now it's getting worse and worse. It is definitely more noticable that the leather had stretched or something where my two butt cheaks sit.
Ok, I've never owned a car with leather before, let along perforated leather, so I don't know if this is common or not. I'm a skiny asian dude, about 155lbs, I guess I have a pretty bonie butt but com' on...is this suppose to happen to brand new leather seats???
Anyway, was wondering if anyone else was having this problem? If not should I take this into Acura as a manf. defect???

I am 5' 10" and 155 lbs, I also have divets in my seat. I heard from a earlier post that some leather conditioner will help with this problem. It is suppose to tighten the leather. Do a search.

I'm a skinny white dude and my ass imprint is in my seat too! Then again, I've got 21k miles on it in like 10 months.
Maybe it's just us skinny people who don't have all that fat to cushion our ass bones so we leave a more pronounced dent in the seat.

I've had mine for 3 months now, but I noticed this after a week. It scares me too as I'm only 135. I have noticed that none of the other seats have this probelm.

imprints
I've not yet had leather seats but maybe some of you move around in you seat during driving (thus no imprint) and others a "glued in". I do have an old car with simulated leatherette (viynal) seats. No imprints at all.
